Hello!
I'm Isaac, the creator and owner of the Isaac24 YouTube channel. I'm from the greater Lansing, Michigan area, and have lived here my whole life. I love it here, except when it gets down to -20 degrees in the winter. Although I've lived here my whole life, I love taking road trips, and plan on visiting all 50 states and as many Canadian provinces as possible in my lifetime, by car when possible. My favorite state that I've visited so far is California, with Tennessee as a close second.

My biggest passion is music. My most-listened to bands are Pink Floyd (my favorite!) as well as Led Zeppelin, The Doors, and others like that. I'm a huge fan of "stoner" rock, blues, and as some more pop-like stuff, like Styx and REO Speedwagon. Stuff like Van Halen, The Cars, Steely Dan, and Lynyrd Skynyrd also appear on my turntable frequently. For the most part, I like pretty much anything recorded from the early 1960s all the way up through the early 1980s, with a few later exceptions. I'm a notorious "hater" of almost anything past then, especially grunge and really any 1990s/2000s "alternative" music. I have played drums for over 10 years, and dabbled in guitar/bass as well. I've been to likely over 50 concerts in my life, and they are one of my favorite things to do. The first concert I ever saw was on July 14, 2014. It was the Go Go's on the Replay America tour, featuring Naked Eyes, Cutting Crew, The Motels, and Scandal. The Go Go's were one of the bands that got me into music as a child, so seeing them live (and then again, in 2016) was amazing.

My other passion is cars, as well as most things with wheels and an engine. I'm a lifelong Volkswagen fanatic, with my runner-up favorites being most other European brands. Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, and Volvo are the ones that come to mind, but I love almost all European cars. I'm also a big fan of Toyota and Honda, because I love the reliable and simple, "no BS" vehicles that they make.  Truthfully, there's not many brands I don't like, but the closest ones are the "Big 3" American brands. if I HAD to pick a favorite American brand, it's definitely Ford, but I really don't like any of them. My current car is a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen 2.5 SE. It's my favorite car I've ever owned, and it belonged to my dad for 6 years before I bought it off of him. It's such a blast to drive! It makes me smile every time I get in it. My first car was a 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo LS, and the first car I ever drove was the aforementioned Jetta, when it belonged to my dad. I attended vocational school during my last 2 years of high school, where I spent time working on cars and learning the inner workings of the trade. Ironically, I've spent my adult life (so far) working in the food industry, almost the polar opposite of the auto industry. I had a realization during my time in vocational school, that while I loved cars, I did not want to do this for a living. I wanted to keep cars as a passion, where I could have fun with them. I've always enjoyed making people laugh and smile, but mostly indirectly, as I'm a major introvert with anxiety issues. I'm known for having a very dry (and sometimes dark) sense of humor. I hate being the center of attention (for anything), but I enjoy interacting with people, especially if they share my interests.
